One of my favorite things about having self-published was understanding what could and couldn't be done behind the scenes, and yeah, because I knew keywords and BISAC codes were absolutely selectable, I asked my pub for more input on that stuff, and now my editor checks them with me every time *and* let me change all my old ones so that I finally get those #1 banners for things like Football Fiction.
